Romeo Koulo was born and raised in Benin (West Africa) where he learned and practice, among other dances, Afrobeat, Salsa, Chacha and Bachata. He then became teacher, choreographer and performer, what he has been for 7 years now.
In Cotonou, this beautiful seaside capital city of Benin, Romeo owns a dance school, the African & Latin Dance (ALD). He now lives in Stockholm, Sweden where he has taught classes at Stockholm Salsa Dance, SalsaAkdemien and Sabor Latino. The journey towards Kizomba came naturally as the dance movement more and more was attracted by the beats of the sound of Kizomba, UrbanKiz, Tarraxinha and Semba. Romeo has been a Kizomba instructor for 2 years now and is currently an active member of AfroDance Rhythm (ADR), his sensibility for tact and rhythm gives him his own unique style in the dance floor.
Lanja first discovered her passion for dancing in 2014 on the islands of the Caribbean and ever since then it's been an everlasting adventure. Her love for kizomba grew rapidly and tremendously in all of her travels among worlds together with her dancing experience . Not only does she love to dance but she is rather very passionate about teaching it and share her knowledge to the dance community.
AfroDance Rhythm is a cultural organization registered and based in Sweden. Its main goal is to share and promote the widely diverse African culture through dance and music.
